About Velokari

Velokari is a lightweight browser-based tile-pairing game designed for fast, focused play. The player flips hidden tiles two at a time, memorises the icons underneath and works to match every pair with as few moves as possible.

The project is built mobile-first. Large tap targets, a compact responsive layout and zero external dependencies mean the game loads instantly on phones, tablets and desktops alike.

Why a Pairing Game?

Pairing games distil core cognitive skills into a single mechanic: observe, encode, retrieve and act. The loop is short enough for a two-minute break yet satisfying enough to replay. Each shuffled board is a fresh puzzle, so no two sessions feel identical.

Velokari wraps that mechanic in a clean visual theme and pairs it with background reading about the history of games, giving the site depth beyond a single empty play screen.
